I took this pack away to the Lake District during the summer, and climbed Helvellyn with this on my back for the day. I was instantly surprised by the weight, which was fantastic for a 45-litre pack and I was barely aware of the pack during the ascent. It comfortably housed my waterproof, fleece, map, water bottles and lunch and the roll-top access was very easy to use when I needed to grab my jacket nearer the top. A fantastic pack for a full day out on the hills!
