    A longer version of our classic Microlight Alpine this lightweight down jacket is the perfect companion for any adventure. Whether you're perched on a chilly belay ledge or exploring your local hills, this is a jacket you won't leave home without. Designed as a classic layering piece for alpine climbers, our Microlight Alpine jacket can also be worn as a versatile outer layer for simple day-to-day use. Made from weather resistant Pertex Microlight fabric, it is filled with high quality 750 fill power hydrophobic down to guarantee you the ultimate combination of warmth and packability at a minimal weight. Cut to be slightly longer than the standard Microlight Alpine, this jacket offers a little extra protection from the elements.

    I love this jacket. I have only worn it for a day so can't comment about it's durability but it's so light and so warm. I didn't notice how warm until I took it off in a cold room where everyone was complaining about how cold the building was. It also fits really well and is a good length. I'm always a little disappointed with colour options when it comes to female clothing in general. I bought the black one with the blue lining but I always wish there would be a bit more choice that doesn't feature pink and purple. That's down to Rab though. For example the mens' version comes in Black/Orange, Blue/Green etc. I'd have bought a mens' one but I'm too small

    Lovely jacket, lightweight , very warm & toasty, great fit and looks very flattering on. Also highly recommend outdoorkit, I had to return another item and was totally gobsmacked when I recieved e-mail confirmation the next day that my refund had been done, also very helpful staff and speedy next day dilivery.
