Packed with both insulation and style, The North Face Womens Metropolis Parka is an ideal choice for wintry city life. It is a superbly snug knee-length coat, filled with luxurious 550-fill down. Quilting throughout ensures even coverage. The hood can be adjusted or removed entirely if need be. A front zip runs from top to bottom. There are pockets inside and out, including a space for phone or MP3 player.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a waterproof coat, but it does have a water resistant treatment.

This coat is a joy to wear, light as a feather (ha ha) not bulky, warm and stylish. For me size 8 and 5,3 tall it comes below my knee. It doesn't restrict walking though as the two way zip can be undone a little.
Bought this coat for my wife last year as she is always cold and spends lots of time taking the kids places and walking the dog, Since buying it she has not taken it off ! she loves it - very warm, light weight, compressible, good pockets she is a size 8 and 5.7 and XS is perfect - please note that most north face jackets come up large and you wont need a jumper underneath to keep warm ! Outdoor kit are 100% on delivery and cost - I wont use high street stores since using this brilliant company
LOVE LOVE LOVE this northface coat. Got it as a Christmas present. It's so warm and comfortable. The lining inside the chin in really nice. And the hood is a nice snug fit when required.
The only downside is I got it in white (at my request) so it does get dirty no matter how careful I am! I have washed it then tumbled dried as per the instructions and it's fluffed up great!

Bought this coat for my wife and she absolutely loves it really warm and a great price,the service,communication and delivery from the outdoorkit team was second to none.I have never written a review before until now, but I would definitely use this company again in the future.
Loved my coat to start with; cosy and warm. But once washed, the down was useless, and didn't fluff up, no matter how long it was left to dry and how many times it was shaken around; so left the coat with no insulation. No use as a waterproof, as only shower resistant, so now totally useless as a warm coat, which was very expensive and expected to last several years.
ED: North Face provide specific washing instructions for down products, please contact us if you require any assistance as this can be a common problem if the instructions aren't fully adhered to.
Superb lightweight but warm coat. I am 5.4" and this came just below my knee which is an ideal length. I was very impressed with the quick delivery too.
We all know it's TOASTY! Beyond doubt! Perfect for walking my three whippets. I do like the two-way zipper which is great to slide up a little from the bottom when driving. A big plus also for me is the brushed chin guard, so comfortable. I also love the nipped in waist, stops you feeling bundled. The attention to detail like this makes the Metropolis the PERFECT coat.
I have wanted this coat for the last 2 years. I fell in love while in Scotland, and this year I have finally achieved getting one! It's so snuggley, its a duvet disguised as a coat! WOW!
My lovely Hubby bought this for me as last year we tried to buy it and it had sold out everywhere!! So I've finally got it!! And with having our lovely new baby, I can't wait to be wearing it pushing the pram in the winter!!! A great buy!

The best money I've ever spent! I've barely had this coat off. So warm and lightweight, you don't need layers of clothes underneath. Perfect for the Scottish winter and standing on the sidelines of my 11 year old sons football games. Will need it surgically removed come spring!
