Excellent pair of waterproof trousers, perfect fit and worn two days in a row in heavy rain and not let the weather in yet!
While very pleased with trousers I had an issue with the sizeing.
Ordered a pair with a MEDIUM waist which should have equated to 31/33 inches per berghause size chart . However upon receipt , label on packaging bag stated "M waist (68cm)" which is only app. 27 inches and this indeed was the actual size of garment when measured. Luckily the elasicated waist allowed me to just about squeeze into them ! Took this anomaly up with supplier who seemed oblivious to the problem to which I was referring .
I bought these after having them recomended to me to wear for work, a postman, so am out in all weathers and no matter how hard it rains these do what they are meant to, keep me dry. well worth the money, a fantastic product, well done Berghaus, thanks.
I had been looking for what I would call a decent pair of lightweight waterproof trousers for some time. Having tried, rather unsuccessfully, various other brands I was soon given the pleasure of a pair of these Berghaus Gore-Tex Paclite Trousers. They are by far the best I have ever worn for both comfort breathability and fantastic waterproofness. They were thrown in the deep end on a recent trip to The Dales; having spent the entire day walking in the pouring rain they were, in my mind, quite extraordinary. They kept me 100% dry and even at a pace when my legs became hot under my walking trousers they managed to help them breathe with little to no moisture inside. The ease of access is also pretty good as the tapered zips travel 3 quarters of the way up allowing you to slip them off with the utmost ease. The material is strong and when I wiped them over at the end of the day there were no marks on the bottom where I had brushed up against rocks and gorse. That evening they had dried out within the hour so I was able to roll them away and put them back into their tiny little stuff sack for another day. Well done Berghaus. I will have may years out of these little gems.
Got caught in the rain hiking up Pillar in the lake district - these were so easy and quick to take out and slip on. Mint.
Wear these through out the day, everyday, really comfortable and light. Best I have tried so far.
