Montane Men's Litespeed Jacket

I have owned my Lite speed jacket for over nine years; it is beautifully made and, if treated with care, will last many years. I have now bought another in Cobalt blue because I only wear my original on special occasions.

Three years ago I used it whilst running my 15th consecutive Snowdonia Marathon in appalling weather. Even though I was soaked to the skin from start to finish the Pertex material, surprisingly, kept me warm even though it was saturated. Had the rain (BULLETS) stopped my jacket would have dried in minutes but it goes to show the incredible wind resistant properties of Pertex. Maintains body warmth and even when saturated with water it keeps you warm whilst wicking away the sweat.

So good that I bought a spare to keep my original for those special occasions such as my annual marathon.

I have had mine for 4 years and use it in every season, just changing the layers underneath. It is incredible; super durable and because it is so light, when combined with different thickness of fleeces it means you can travel lightly and quickly without too much bulk. Mega buy!

This product is indestructible - my present one is 10yrs old, done lots of ski tours, many hundreds of miles mountain biking and over 200 Munros. It is so good it is boring. Linked with a hooded fleece it is the perfect combination and is good for all year round. Exceptional piece of kit.
