For Fall 2010, The North FaceĀ® is revising its daypacks, making improvements to their fit, comfort and usability. After careful study and consultation with Dr. Scott Bautch, and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), they've reworked our shoulder straps, back panels and hipbelts.
The NEW FlexVent shoulder straps are injection molded, creating innovative flex points to alleviate clavicle and pressure point strain as well as neck pain. Each FlexVent shoulder strap is constructed in an anatomically correct shape specifically suited to our male and female customers. The back panels feature an improved fit, with a recessed channel designed to take pressure off the spine, and a more comfortable fabrication for load-bearing activities. Combined, these updates address the issue of proper loading and fit that in turn encourages the safe carrying of the daypacks, preventing unnecessary pain and injuries.
Additionally, they've updated their packs interior organization, providing ample pockets and dividers for storing and organizing the necessities of school, work and play.
